Atheneum started as a frustration with juggling five apps to study for one exam — and then with the all-in-one apps that replaced them, which bury you in features you never asked for. So we built the third option: one workspace, assembled by you.
✦ Why it exists
Your workspace, your shape.
The average student has notes in one app, a calendar in another, a timer in a third, and a spreadsheet to hold it together. That is several context switches before any studying happens.
The usual fix is an all-in-one app — which solves the switching and creates a new problem. You get someone else's idea of a study workflow, with a sidebar full of features you will never open, and the thing you actually use buried three clicks deep.
Atheneum ships every feature into a tool library instead. You pull out what fits how you study and leave the rest shelved. A finalist writing a dissertation and a first-year cramming for January get the same app and two completely different workspaces — which is the point.

One session a day compounds faster than one marathon session per week. Atheneum is designed around sustainable daily habits - not heroic all-nighters that leave you burned out.
Privacy is non-negotiable
Your study material is personal. We built the AI layer on Cloudflare's edge specifically so your files never touch third-party servers. Your notes are yours, full stop.
Progress should be visible
Points, streaks, and badges aren't gamification for its own sake - they're a feedback loop that makes your momentum visible. Seeing growth is motivating. We lean into that.
Complexity is the enemy
Every feature exists because students actually need it. We don't add modules for the sake of feature lists. When something makes studying better, it goes in. When it doesn't, it stays out.

Atheneum is our flagship product. We built it because we needed it ourselves and knew other students did too — and because every study app we tried decided for us what studying should look like.
