Build the workspace that fits how you study

One workspace.
Assembled by you.

Every feature in Atheneum lives in a tool library. Pull out what fits how you study and leave the rest out of your sidebar. Shelving never deletes anything — turn a tool back on and it is exactly where you left it.

Tool Library

Your sidebar, not ours.

Most study apps hand you a fixed set of features and a sidebar full of things you will never open. Atheneum ships everything into a library and lets you decide what appears.

A finalist writing a dissertation and a first-year cramming for January get the same app and two completely different workspaces.

Study Vault

Every file, every subject, in one place.

Upload PDFs, Word documents, slides, or plain text. Atheneum extracts the content. On Pro, it writes a structured summary as soon as the file lands. Free uploads stay in the vault; Athena, summaries, and flashcards are on Pro, and quiz generation is on Pro+.

Almost every AI feature reads from here, so what you put in the vault decides how useful the rest of the app is.

Notebooks and foldersOne per module, colour coded, with folders as it grows.

PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXTUp to 20MB per file, text extracted automatically.

Pro: instant summariesA structured summary as soon as the file is processed — included on Pro.

Review flaggingFiles are flagged when quiz scores reveal a weak spot.

Athena

A tutor that has read your material.

A general chatbot can explain thermodynamics. Athena explains the thermodynamics in the lecture slides you uploaded, and tells you which file she took it from.

Pick a notebook to focus on, drag a file into the conversation, or upload one directly. Conversations are saved and encrypted.

Grounded answersResponses cite the file they came from, so you can check them.

Tutor profileSet difficulty, pace, and style — visual, verbal, or practical.

Files in chatUp to five per conversation, 10MB each.

Included on ProA floating dock keeps her one click away on any page.

Why does the transport layer need port numbers?
The network layer only gets a packet to the right machine. Ports identify which process on that machine should receive it.OSI Model.pdf · p.4

Review & practice

From reading it to actually knowing it.

Flashcards are generated from your own files on Pro. Quizzes from those files are on Pro+ — so you practise the module you are actually sitting.

Review works one level up, pooling every summary in a notebook to build revision that spans the subject rather than a single lecture.

FlashcardsGenerated from a file, exportable straight into Anki.

QuizzesMultiple choice and short answer, graded with weak-topic feedback.

Notebook reviewSummaries and quizzes across a whole subject. Pro.

Attempt historyScores and accuracy tracked so you can see movement.

Focus

Starting, and staying started.

A Pomodoro timer that keeps running as you move around the app, with a compact version pinned in the sidebar so you never lose it.

Label what you are working on and tag it to a notebook, and the dashboard can tell you where your hours actually went.

Pomodoro25 on, 5 off, a longer break every fourth round.

StreaksConsistency tracked across days, with nobody to compare against.

Focus musicPlaylists that keep playing as you navigate.

Breathing timerBox, 4-7-8, and calm patterns for before an exam.

Planning

Deadlines you can see coming.

A kanban board for assignments and a calendar for everything with a date on it, including optional two-way sync with Google Calendar.

The dashboard reports the real numbers — including the weeks you did nothing, because that is the useful part.

Kanban boardColumns you shape around how you actually work.

CalendarEvents, reminders, and deadlines styled distinctly.

Google CalendarOptional sync, disconnectable at any time.

Honest dashboardFocus minutes, streaks, and a subject breakdown.

✦ Worth knowing

Where Athena is wrong.

Athena runs on a language model. She will occasionally state something false with complete confidence, misattribute an idea, or invent a citation that looks entirely plausible.

Treat every factual claim as a lead to verify against your actual material, never as the final answer. And check your institution’s rules on AI assistance before leaning on generated work.
